When asked if she planned on returning to the store where she works, and purchased the ticket, McLaughlin said she was unsure. “I think, for now, my boss is just happy to be the retailer who sold the winning ticket because Publix has a $20,000 bonus check coming their way,” said McLaughlin.

After playing the lottery for a few years, Ashburn resident, Hector Garcia, still can’t
believe that he is an Illinois Lottery $100,000 winner.

“I’m still in shock. It feels unreal,” said Garcia, a “Maximum Millions”
instant ticket winner. Garcia, a 40-year-old Popeye’s manager for more than 15 years, decided to buy a few instant tickets before heading home from work one day.
