Pick your numbers for the Euromillions by simple random number generation.

Many lotteries (including the Euromillions) allow you to select random numbers. These are great if you are in a hurry, or simply cannot decide what to choose. You should remember that the lottery itself is random. The important thing is to ensure your own ongoing system of choosing numbers remains consitant. For example, if you’ve been playing the same set of 6 numbers week in week out and then you change your system the pain and sorrow you’d feel when your old numbers come up will be impossible to imagine.

This is our advice as we reach the end of the October lottery hints and tips series. Make your number system selection and stick to it!

Once you’ve chosen your lottery numbers, buy EuroMillions lottery tickets online with ease and peace of mind.

There’s no magic formula to choose winning lottery numbers, but if you’re one of us who love to play lottery and buy all your lotto tickets online then you’ve probably tried a few different systems. What I recommend is to play often and try a number of different number selection systems before settling on one and sticking to it. This may be either choosing a fixed set of numbers and playing them every week or using a random number selector and playing different numbers each week.

Whilst researching this post I came across an interesting piece of research:

In 1998, a team of scientists at Southampton University revealed that the most commonly chosen set of numbers was 7, 17, 23, 32, 40 and 42, while the least common is 26, 34, 44, 46, 47 and 49.

Clustering is very common in random numbers; John Haigh of Sussex University has proved mathematically that roughly half of all Lottery draws contain a pair of consecutive numbers such as 15 and 16.

Once you’ve chosen your lottery numbers, buy lottery tickets online with ease and peace of mind.

One of the largest lottery games in Europe is the Italian SuperEnalotto. Many in Europe consider this lottery the Euro version of the American Power Ball Lottery. The Italian lotto has been in existence since the 1950’s whilst the modern version, SuperEnalotto lottery was launched by lottery operator Sisal in 1996.

Many people have been emailing (since the world record jackpot payout on Friday 22 August, 2009) for advice on how to match that payout. Specifically how to pick numbers for the Superenlotto.

We understand, the Superenlotto winner used the following simple technique:

He took his birthday, and that of his wife. (we cannot disclose the birthdays but the clever one’s here will work it out) Removed the year, leaving just the day and month. Then listing all the numbers, he added them together repeatedly until he arrived at the 6 numbers he picked for the lottery draw.

We like this approach for it’s simplicity and for its close ties to the family with memorable and meaningful number selection.

EuroMillions is the cross European lottery. Initially announced in France, and the United Kingdom on 7 February 2004. The first draw took place on Friday 13 February 2004 in Paris. For the early draws only the UK, France and Spain took part, though as the success grew, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Switzerland subsequently joined and took part in the draw of 8 October 2004. Euro Millions draws take place every Friday night. All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax exempt, except in Switzerland, and are paid in lump sum.

Choosing the most effective numbers for the Euro Millions is a complex process since you’re competing with a multi national base of players and also a much larger jackpot than in the individual national lottery games. So here we prefer the more complex numerology approach.

The numerology strategy involves an ancient alphabet technique that originates from the Hebrew Kabbalah. The technique attributes numerical values to every letter of the alphabet.

Start by selecting a base word or phrase, you then use these numbers to calculate your lottery numbers. Write out the alphabet and next to each letter a number starting from 1, eg:

a - 1
b - 2
c - 3

and so on…

Match your base word or phrase to choose lottery numbers for the Euro Millions Lottery

El Gordo de la Primitiva is the national Spanish lottery game, La Primitva can be translated as the “The Big One but is locally commonly known as El Gordo. The lottery is one of the Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (Spanish state lotteries).

La Primitiva Lottery Tickets consist of two grids, one with numbers from 1 to 54 and the second from 1 to 9. Players have to pick five numbers in the first grid and one in the second. The highest jackpot prize paid out was at La Primitiva Christmas Lottery in 2004.

Choosing Lottery Numbers for La Primitiva:
Since life in Spain travels at a relaxing speed with time for siesta’s and long summer breaks, we at theLotter prefer a similar simple approach to choosing numbers for La Primitiva. Use numbers corresponding to your birthdate which are usually of greatest significance in your life. numerically speaking other personal numbers can also be a good and straight forward system to employ.

Any significant anniversary in your life, such as a wedding, can be used. Family members’ birthdays are also significant to you, since your life is most certainly intertwined with theirs. Numbers to avoid are those so personal that you may not like them being exposed to the public, these include; social security number, address, phone number, and bank account number.

Mega Millions is a multi-jurisdictional $1 lottery game in the USA. There are now a total of 12 jurisdictions that have a Mega Millions lottery game, while another 32 jurisdictions. From May 2002, the Mega Millions lottery has advertised winning jackpots starting at $12 million which are then paid out over 26 years. The payout time increases when there is no jackpot winner and the subsequent jackpot rolls over to a larger amount. .Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday.

So, how should you choose winning Lottery numbers for the Mega Millions Lottery Draw? Our favorite technique is to use numbers relevant to your birthday. In short, you simply make a list of the digits for the corresponding day, month, and year. For example, if you’re born on January 10, 1980 you would play 1 (January), 10 (day), and 80 (year). Eighty is naturally to high a number so the tip is to add together the double-digit number and play the number 8.

The SuperEnalotto is a lottery played in Italy. The lottery opened its doors with its inaugural draw on 3 December 1997. Superenalotto draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8:00 PM (Italy time). The Superenalotto jackpots won are among the largest in the world with a record payout of over 130m euros in August 2009.

So, how should you pick lottery numbers for the Superenalotto?, we recommed the following formula, by adding or reducing the numbers of your birth date by a fixed prime number. This system can also be used for choosing additional lucky numbers besides your primary and secondary selections.

This lottery number selection formula is extremely straight forward. You simply need to add to each digit a fixed prime number in your numerical series. Then add together the numbers until you’ve reduced it to a single number.

EG: calculate the numerical value of a mobile phone number. For example if the mobile phone number is 123-555-6789. Then add together all the digits, and you’ll arrive at the following equation:

1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 51.

Use the formula again to reduce the number: 5 + 1 = 6. The number you have for selection is 6.

You’ll need to find 6 relevant (+ an additional bonus ball) phone numbers or other relevant strings of digits.

Good luck, once you’ve selected your Superenlotto numbers, you can buy a lottery ticket online here

Starting our October series entitled ‘How to pick lottery numbers’ we’ll begin with how NOT to choose lottery numbers. This may sound like an odd and negative way of starting but in our opinion the best way to pick numbers is to understand how to avoid the pitfalls of picking the wrong numbers or using the wrong system to choose them.

- don’t pick numbers that have recently won,
- don’t pick your bank card pin number
- don’t pick lottery numbers that your friends have chosen
- don’t pick all numbers under 12
- don’t pick a straight series of consecutive numbers

All the above will either stop you winning (mathematically) or if you do win will reduce your payout, since these systems are often chosen by a huge number of lottery players.
