A little over a month ago (12 December) the Indiana Hoosier lottery was won by Albert and Drena George from Daleville. They full lottery prize of $14 million jackpot. They chose to take a lump sum payment (which after deductions) left them $6.1 million richer!
The local newspaper in Dalevile, the “NewsLink Indiana” reported the following day that Albert and Drena bought their Hoosier lottery tickets at a branch of Gas America on West Commerce Road in Daleville. Apparantly they regularly buy their tickets on Sunday and Thursday which just goes to show how good habits pay off in the end.

I’m taking a break from tradition here and i’m going to tell you exactly which method I use to pick my Mega Millions lottery numbers. Please note however this is not a typical nor recommended method and in no way guarantees you a chance of winning…i’m simply sharing my own method (which works for me, i’ve won over $15,000 in the last 2 months)
I call it the SimpleMath Method
Pick 1
The first five numbers on the card should be between 1 and 56. To pick the first lottery number, combine the number of the month and date of your date of birth. EG: if you were born on 12/8, your number would be 12 + 8 = 20 (simple!)
Pick 2
For your second lotto card number, choose your age. If you are over 56, subtract your age from 120 (a good luck age)
Pick 3 & Pick 4
The third and fourth ticket numbers are any two of these numbers: 9, 19, 29, 39. If you look at archives of past results, many winning combination’s contain these numbers.
Pick 5
To choose your fifth number for your Mega Millions lotto ticket, subtract the second number from 56.
Pick 6
The last number to pick is the Mega Ball, a number between 1 and 46. Numbers between 40 and 46 have often been the winning Mega Ball number, so choose your favorite number between 40 and 46.

A LOTTERY syndicate in Newcatsle, England won a £10million euro millions jackpot on New Years Even after pitching in to buy five lucky dip tickets. The twist came that they bought the lucky dip tickets from their £5 EuroMillions winnings the week before!
The six of them, friends from a local neighborhood in Newcastle, UK won the £10,257,210 Double Rollover jackpot on New Year’s Eve. The week before they had won 5 million euromillions jackpot.
It just goes to show how winning a lottery jackpot neeed not be the end of your lottery fun!

One lottery we’ve never discussed here at thelotterblog is the Hoosier Lottery, the official state lottery of Indiana, USA. This is not because we don’t like it, but sometimes some just get overlooked. This ends here
